Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy applies to all mobile apps, websites, games, and related services published by Thuml (“we,” “us,” “our”). Some products may present additional in-app disclosures or app-specific notices; where there is a conflict, those app-specific notices control for that product.
Quick Summary
- We do not require user accounts for most apps and we don’t operate our own data-collecting servers for simple offline features.
- Some apps show rewarded or interstitial ads (e.g., via Google AdMob) and/or use SDKs for analytics, crash reporting, and payments. Those providers may collect device/usage data to deliver their services.
- If an app lets you export or save files (e.g., CSV), those files are saved locally on your device unless the app clearly tells you otherwise.
- You can contact us any time at mike@thuml.com with privacy questions or requests.
Information We Collect
1) Information you provide
- We do not collect or save any data or information directly. Our apps usually don't have any log-in or info collection for use. The following is for legal purposes.
- Inputs you type into an app (e.g., settings, preferences, text) and content you choose to generate or save.
- Support messages sent to us (e.g., email content and address).
2) Information collected automatically
Depending on the app’s features and SDKs used, the following may be collected by third-party providers acting as independent controllers or processors:
- Device and app information (model, OS version, language, app version, performance/diagnostics).
- IP address, coarse location derived from IP, advertising identifiers (e.g., Google Advertising ID) used for ads, analytics, and fraud prevention.
- Engagement data (e.g., ad views/completions for rewarded ads, crash reports, screen views).
Examples of SDKs we may use across our apps: Google Mobile Ads (AdMob), Google Firebase (Analytics/Crashlytics), payment processors, and platform services from Apple/Google. App-specific disclosures identify which SDKs are active in a given product.
How We Use Information
- Deliver core app features, personalize in-app behavior you request, and provide support.
- Show and measure advertising (including rewarded ads) and prevent abuse/fraud.
- Understand performance and reliability, fix bugs, and improve user experience.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce terms.
We do not sell your personal data.
Sharing of Information
- Service providers & SDKs. We share data with vendors that operate ads, analytics, crash reporting, and payments. They use the data to provide their services and for legitimate business purposes (e.g., security, fraud prevention, reporting).
- Legal. We may disclose information to comply with law, lawful requests, or to protect rights, safety, or property.
- We do not otherwise sell or rent your information.
Advertising & Tracking Choices
- Personalized vs. non-personalized ads: Some regions (e.g., EEA/UK) require consent before showing personalized ads. Where available, we use a consent prompt. If you withhold consent, you may receive non-personalized ads.
- Device settings: You can reset or limit ad tracking in your device settings (e.g., reset Advertising ID, “Opt out of Ads Personalization”).
- Rewarded ads: Certain features in some apps are unlocked by viewing an ad; we record only whether the ad was completed for that unlock.
Data Storage, Transfers & Retention
- Local processing: Many app features run on-device. If you export files (e.g., CSV), they are saved to your device’s storage via the operating system’s file APIs.
- Transfers: Our vendors may process data on servers located in multiple countries. They implement safeguards appropriate to applicable laws.
- Retention: We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes described or as required by law. Third-party SDKs apply their own retention policies.
Your Rights & Controls
- Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain processing.
- You can uninstall apps at any time, delete exported files you created, and adjust device permissions and ad settings.
- To make a request, contact: mike@thuml.com. We may need information to verify your identity.
Children’s Privacy
Our apps are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will address it promptly.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate to the nature of our apps. No system is 100% secure; please use strong device security and keep your OS/app up to date.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect product or legal changes. Updates will be posted here with a new “Last updated” date. For material changes, we may also provide in-app notice.
